The 2014 Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade festivities will kick off on March 15 at 11:45 a.m. with special pre-parade performances by local Irish dance groups and Irish musicians. The performance will take place on Peachtree Street – directly in front of the VIP Reviewing Stand.
At noon, the parade officially steps off on Peachtree Street in Midtown. The 2014 Atlanta St. Pat-rick’s Parade will feature more than 2,000 dancers, musicians and Irish enthusiasts, as well as huge parade balloons, floats, marching bands, clowns, animals and one of the world’s largest Irish walking flags.
The Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade is also excited to announce that the iconic Budweiser Clydes-dales will participate in this year’s parade. The eight-horse hitch, companion Dalmatian and famous red, white and gold beer wagon will travel down Peachtree Street in Midtown to the delight of cheering crowds out for the parade.
For 80 years, the well-loved Clydesdales have embodied the Budweiser brand and have become an enduring all-American symbol of the brand’s heritage and tradition.
