Central Bark Doggy Day Care Opens First Store in Atlanta

Central Bark Doggy Day Care, the pioneer of the doggy day care industry and creator of the UnK-ennel concept, announces the grand opening of Atlanta’s first Central Bark. Central Bark Doggy Day Care provides a clean, healthy, fun and nurturing environment for dogs focusing on exercise, socializa-tion and training, which from day one has set the standard for excellence in canine care. System-wide, there are more than 1.6 million dog visits. Atlanta residents Lindsay and Jeremy Le decided to open a franchise after obtaining their degrees from the University of Florida, where Lindsay continued on to obtain her law degree. Lindsay was a corporate litigation attorney in Midtown Atlanta for several years – an attorney who daily dreamed about working with dogs. Jeremy is a medical sales representative working in the Atlanta area.

The Central Bark Doggy Day Care franchise system was created in 2003 and includes 27 locations in six states. Celebrating their 10-year anniversary, co-founders Jackie Jordan and Chris Gaba created the franchise system based on a foundation of best practices to provide personalized pet care in an environment that is clean, safe and fun, and, as an alternative to kennel boarding. The company pio-neered the doggy day care concept, coining the phrase “the UnKennel” and set the standard of excel-lence in canine care that helps dogs become better canine citizens, improve the quality of dogs’ lives and enhance canine/parent relationships. The Central Bark Doggy Day Care Atlanta is open Monday– Friday at 7 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 8 a.m.-4 p.m. To contact the store directly, call 404-248-BARK (2275).
